When you select your language in Kerna's settings, everything changes — not just the AI outputs, but every button, label, menu, notification, and tooltip in the entire add-on interface. If you set Kerna to Polish, you use Kerna in Polish. If you set it to Japanese, the entire experience is in Japanese.
This is not browser-level auto-translation. Every string in the interface has been deliberately localized for all 45 languages. The result is an experience that feels native, not converted.

Summaries are generated in your preferred language, even if the original thread contains messages in multiple languages. A thread with German, English, and Spanish emails produces a single coherent summary in whichever language you choose.
